Programs for Seniors

MASC seniors program includes:

Workshops; Performances; Author's visits; Storytelling and more.

MASC has been serving up the arts to seniors for the past 9 years with programs featuring professional artists who bring opportunities for hands-on participation in engaging workshops and thrilling, multicultural performances. Participants speak of the excitement of finding a creative ability, widening their understanding of other cultures and the pleasure of participating in a performance or hands-on workshop.

MASC connects artists and life-long learning:

  • Create in Dance, Drama, Literary Arts, Music, Media and Visual Arts
  • Increase the engagement of participants
  • Encourage art appreciation
  • Bring people together, reducing isolation
  • Build knowledge and skills
  • Provide dynamic, culturally diverse experiences.

For information on booking an artist or to access subsidies, please contact: Cheryl Carman

All MASC artists hold a Vulnerable Sector Police Check dated no earlier than December 2017; artists that have completed Vulnerable Police Checks between December 2017 and June 2018 have also signed an Offence Declaration with MASC.
