About this program
1 artist – The Junkyard Jonny Show is a radical ride of recycling and rhythm. Participants learn the importance of rhythm in music and life. Jonny teaches the basics of rhythm, such as tempo, beat, dynamics, quarter notes, eight notes, half notes, whole notes as well as syncopated rhythms. Add in a cheer box and a few rhythmic games and the show becomes a ‘Stomp’ for students. The importance of recycling and the Four R’s, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rock is covered as students learn how to have fun while helping the earth.
