About this program
In this unique real-time livestream musical experience students are able to see and hear from a roster of global artists and new Canadians in their own voices, amplifying their messages of hope and peace in this new concert entitled Refuge. This includes musicians from Sudan, Somalia, Pakistan, India, Iraq, Cuba, and Iran, providing an example of cross-cultural dialogue and invitation to reflect on Canada’s diversity. To be able to bring all these musicians together along with the core rhythm section of Chris McKhool, Kevin Laliberté and Drew Birston is an unbeatable concert experience. The show is enhanced with Digital Sound and a professional multi-camera setup, and is followed by a live interactive Q&A session.
